Facebook Testing Hiding Like Counts

Fake It ‘Til Ya Make It

New Facebook (And Instagram) Features

If you do live video for your business, or are interested in doing it in the future, Facebook is testing some new features that benefit the video marketer. First, TechCrunch is reporting a “rehearsal” feature for Pages (not individual profiles) that enables users to record broadcasts that can be viewed exclusively by Page Admins and Editors. This feature can help you test our new studio setups, angles, equipment, and features before you actually go live. Facebook’s also planning on giving video marketers the option to edit the beginning and end of Live videos in order to get ride of dead air.

And finally, Facebook has doubled the maximum live stream length to 8 hours. While we kick around plans for the TRIPOD 8-hour livestream, we hope you’ll join us for next livestream show on Monday, October 21 from 7-8pm CST. RSVP on our Facebook page!

We get excited about these new features AND we also talk about some long-awaiting features that are reportedly coming to Instagram.

Facebook Testing Hiding Like Counts

It’s been spotted in Australia – a Facebook that’s free of Like counts! TechCrunch is reports that a Facebook spokesperson said that they are running this test to see if it will improve people’s experience on the platform.

The boys talk the pro’s and con’s of this move and discuss if this is truly a goodwill move to transform the platform OR a sneak way to wrestle back control of the algorithm.

Fake It 'Til Ya Make It

You don’t have to be an entrepreneur or business owner to question your confidence and your abilities. Or perhaps this could be applied to doing a podcast…

We talk about how feeling like a fraud is different than actually being a fraud and how being aware of this fear can be empowering. Fake the confidence, don’t fake the competence.

It’s also a path down memory lane as Ross talks about how he’s never been qualified for a single job he’s had in his entire career.
